First Colts Game

Here is Ryan with his favorite girl watching football. He's so happy because she stops crying when he picks her up and faces her towards the TV. She is getting so big, even in the past week. I imagine that I'll be sending out pictures of her rolling over in the next week!

Avery's first swim

Avery had her first swimming experience today. She really seemed to like the water. We went to the YMCA with my friend Val and Lily. As in everything else she looks so cute in her bathing suit. We may even take them tomorrow to the outdoor pool up the road.

These are just some really cute pictures taken over the past 2 days. It is amazing how much she changes every day!

Avery's new favorite thing to do is lift her head and legs at the same time. It looks like she's doing crunches. It's really pretty funny. If she keeps this up she'll have abs of steel!

These are pictures I took today. She is 3 months and 5 days. I can't believe how much she changes every day. She loves to talk and kick her legs. After I put her down for a nap she usually spends about 5-15 min just laying there talking to herself. She looks at everything around her and really loves being outside and watching the trees move in the wind.

Her first winery

This is from our visit to Napa while Marianne was visiting. It was 113 degrees in Napa that weekend and we were hot. Luckily the wineries were air conditioned which is more than we can say about our house. She did fine during the day but the nights were tough. It was 100 degrees in our house at 10pm!! Since it usually doesn't get that hot around here not many houses have air conditioning. We had fans but they only blew the hot air around.
We are happy to have Kyle and Sara living nearby so they came with us. We'll need to take them back when we can enjoy picnicing outside and not sweating through out clothes.

Avery and her friends

These are pictures of Avery with her two friends. The one with Avery in the red outfit is with Karoline and was taken on the 4th of July. The one on the yellow blanket is with Lily. Karoline was born 6 weeks before and Lily was 4 weeks after. It was nice to have friends going through pregnancy at the same time. Karoline's mother Beth has been a big help since she gets to go through everything first. If I every have a problem I can usually call her. Lily's mom Val and I take the girls and our dogs and go hiking almost every week. We have become good friends bonding through this huge life change.

Avery has recently discovered her fists and loves chewing on them.

This is our favorite picture of Avery. She looks so sweet. I'm sure you all have seen all these pictures but I'm just testing this out. I promise I'll get some new ones loaded this weekend. My mom is coming in to babysit for the week so I know she'll be taking pictures like crazy.

Year of the dog

This is a picture taken when Avery was about 8 weeks. I just love the fact she was born in the year of the dog! She already seems to like Jack and Diane. She follows them with her eyes and head when they walk around her. She doesn't even mind their kisses!

First entry

I've been wanting a place to post pictures and stories for awhile but was too intimidated by the process. Lucky for me I found this when looking for a friends blog. Once again I'm learning something new from Beth! I hope you enjoy this and that it will be an easy way for everyone to see Avery. Now if only I keep it updated...
