Avery and Lily

I didn't have many pictures of Avery and Lily together as we are usually too busy playing or something when we are together. Val is Lily's mother and watches Avery during the day so she took these for me. As you can see they have a great time together. They are BFF. How wonderful for Avery that she is only 13 months old and already has her 2 BFF's Lily and Karoline. What a lucky girl!
I love the first picture because it looks like Lily has just said something shocking to Avery! So cute.

Avery is walking!!

Avery has become quite the little walker lately. It is so much fun to see her go. We are in Indy right now (this movie is about a week old) and I think she will be running soon! Her only problem is when she comes across new textures. Going from linoleum to carpet is a bit of a challenge but she'll get it soon! It was nice at the airport that she would actually stay upright and not all over the dirty floor!

Vacation in FL

So we just got back from our trip to Florida. We went with Ryan's best friend David and his wife Carrie and had a great time. My parents also stayed nearby so they took Avery for a couple nights while we went to Captiva Island. I missed my little girl terribly but it was nice to have some "adult" time. While we were there we hit a lot of restaurants but also had fun biking through the Ding Darling Preserve.
Avery turned one while we there and so we gave her Key Lime Pie and sang to her. She really likes the singing part and really seemed to enjoy the pie. She also really liked the pool and Ryan and David had a fun time playing with her. The weather was awesome while we were there and we really got a chance to relax. Unfortunately the vacation had to end but hopefully we can keep that vacation feeling for a little longer.
