Beautiful Weather

It has been about 80 degrees here lately. We have been going to the park and walking with the dogs a lot. Avery pretty much smells like sunscreen all the time. Here are some cute pics of her in one of her cutest outfits. Of course one that a Grandma bought! On the sidewalk she is sitting next to Lily. Her and Lily play all day long since her mom Val watches them. We also meet every Friday with other Mommies for a Mommy and Me outing. We just go to the park but it's nice to hang out with people.

Growing up!

Avery is getting so big! I can't believe she'll be 1 in a couple of months. I haven't been good at keeping up with the blog but I have some new pics now. Some were taken a couple of weeks ago but the park ones were taken today. I can't believe she is really old enough to enjoy the park. It's amazing that she gets more fun everyday! She really loves the swings. In fact after the park we went to ToysRUs and bought one of those swing we attached to our front porch. As you can see she didn't like the slide as much! I think it felt too much like falling. If we went down with her she was fine, just not by herself!

SuperBowl Champs!!

How exciting, the Colts as Super Bowl Champs! We had a great time with our friends but it would have been fun to be in Indy to feel the energy. Although we had such a great time here! Tonight Avery started waving Bye-bye spontaneously for the first time. Some friends were leaving and she just started waving. I've been working on this for a couple weeks, it's just neat to see that she is absorbing things. The video is obviously staged since I didn't have the camera ready the first time.

A.J. Triplett!!!

AJ Triplett was born last night at 5:20PST! He is only 34 weeks but 7lb 8oz so he's a big one! He had a hole in his lung so he was on oxygen last night but, thank the Lord!, the hole healed over night and he is getting better. If he comes off the oxygen soon Brooke will finally be able to hold him and he'll be going home this weekend! Brooke has been a real trooper, I can't imagine having to see my child through an incubator. Here is the first picture of him! I can't wait to meet him!

9 months!

Avery is 9 months today! I can't believe how fast time flies. She is becoming so independent already. She likes to feed herself so she is totally off pureed food. Kinda nice though since she now pretty much eats whatever we eat. She is still the best thing to ever happen to us!
The girl in the photos is Lily, her friend that she stays with while I'm at work. The other is her eating blueberries, of course she had to feed herself and got blue everywhere.

Colts Game

Very nervous in the Wilson household. Will the Colts finally make it to the SuperBowl? At least we've got our team spirit alive even here in N. Cal. Avery is able to stand if she is leaning against something. She has this leapfrog activity table that she will play with. She isn't pulling herself up yet but I'm sure that is soon to come. She will "stand" on her knees now.

Whale Watching

Ryan, Avery and I went to Monterey on Jan 12th. The plan was to take a nice whale watching trip Sat morning. Everything up to that point went well. Avery and I walked around Monterey while Ryan worked. The we met at the hotel, hung out then went to dinner. We got up first thing in the morning, bundled up ( it was freezing!!!) and headed for the boat. About 15 min after the boat left the dock I knew this was going to not be fun. I was so sick! I spent the trip trying not to raise my head! Luckily Avery slept the ENTIRE time! Ryan took some movies for me. Not the great trip I pictured. It was cute to see Avery so bundled up though.

Kate came for a visit

Last weekend my friend Kate came for a visit. We went up to Healdsburg with Avery and had a great time.

Avery's crawling

Just to let everyone know, Avery is now crawling! She started the day after we got back from Indy and is now so good she will go every where! She is very interested in wall heater but mostly she will stay in the living room and play with her toys. She did wander in to the kitchen the other day and found the dog's water bowl!

Here are some pics from dinner out with my best friends. We went to Champps and watched Purdue get destroyed by Maryland, so sad.
You can see that they had cake for Ryan and I's birthdays. The next night we went was Ryan's birthday and Ryan's mom took us out to dinner. My parent's and Ryan's best friend joined us. Unfortunately I wasn't the best about getting pictures so I'm missing some memories I want...

Holidays in Indy

We had a great time in Indy for Christmas, Ryan's 30th and New Year's. It was a long time to be away from the dogs and our friends out here but we really had fun. We haven't been back for that long since we moved 3 years ago. Here are some highlights from the 2 weeks.

Ryan's back from Orlando

Ryan got back from Orlando today. Avery was happy to see him, especially since he came bearing gifts. The Pooh is literally bigger than she is! Then he said he couldn't decide which hat to buy...so he got both!

And the winner is...

We had a nice time at our church's family fun night. Avery had a lot of friends to play with. Christi's kids Emma and Levi are in the Pooh and giraffe costumes. Beth and I ran the ring toss booth. Karoline is the one in the cheerleader costume. She's 6 weeks older than Avery so we help each other out a lot. My friend Yiping from work brought her daughter Rachel. I thought the elephant was such a cute costume. I am so blessed to have so many friends nearby!
