SeaWorld has this toddler area with a Sesame Street theme. They had this jumpy thing that was supposed to be like a tidepool and this play gym you could climb on. Watching Avery with all the other kids made me think about 2 years from now when she has her very own playmate full-time. I think the girls will have a great time together exploring so many things.
This was our view from our breakfast with Shamu. Great seats right!
Avery wanted to get in the water and swim with the whales.
This is by the whale viewing pool at SeaWorld. As you can see the whales would get very close! It was really neat to see them swim. The little whale is a baby whale swimming next to its mother. They are such amazing animals, and it was more amazing to look at them through Avery's eyes.
Avery loved the pool at the hotel and was really trying to swim. She would even go under water all the way. Ryan took her one afternoon to let me give my back a rest and enjoyed some daddy-daughter time.
Near our hotel there was this little old fashioned Mission town and they had all these cute little shops. One of them sold old fashioned candy. When she saw that she got so excited. In fact she found it with Ryan while I was at another shop and was begging him for candy then. Not wanting to get in trouble Ryan said that she needed to ask me first. Next thing you know she's running down the path and all I hear is "Mommy, Mommy, I want to show you something" She took my hand so we bought her the candy stick. As you can see she enjoyed it very much!
