A very talkative and messy Isabel. Avery also made an appearance and as it obvious she enjoys being the center of attention but unsure how to handle it!

Swim lesson, Sydney-Kate's birthday and climbing girl...
Avery started her first swim lessons this weekend. She had a great time and didn't want to get out of the pool. On Sunday we had Sydney-Kate's birthday party. She had a lot of fun there and I ate too much yummy cake!
The picture of Isabel just shows how different they are! She's already more of a climber than Avery is. If something such as a box is next to a table she'll climb on it and pull herself up to see better. She also climbed into the coffee table. I was worried about the glass breaking but more worried I would lose the cute picture. She is so cute, so much fun and keeps me on my toes!

Sydney-Kate had a ballerina themed party and all the girls dressed in tutus. Kelly plans her themes way in advance and makes all the food including the cake, herself.

Disneyland
We had an awesome time in Disney. It's the "happiest place on earth" and we did our best to live up to that! I don't think I can post the hundred or so pictures we took so I still need to go through them and get them posted. This was painful to go through. It was fun to remember the trip though. Here they are!

Isabel does more than look like her Grandaddy, she loves being in his arms. She would always be calm when he held her. With everyone else she just wanted to squirm.

The carousel was by far here favorite thing at Disney. The tunnel rides were a bit scary to her.
Dad watched Isabel while we went on a ride with Avery. As you can see he enjoyed a couple "rides" himself!

She's THREE!!
I can't believe my first child is 3 years old! What an awesome time this has been. On April 29th 2006 I didn't think things could get better, but every day I find her to be more and more fun! She is a delight and I can't imagine my life without her! Right now she is on a plane with my parents on her way to Indy and I can't believe I won't see her for 6 days! It's going to be so sad to not have her around every day.
Last year we took her to SeaWorld so this year we took everyone (including my parents) to Disneyland. It really is one of the "happiest places on Earth". We had a great time (pictures to come soon!) and it was so neat to see Disney from her eyes. I know she won't have any memory of this trip but we do and that is all that matters!

Sisters...
Avery has been getting in a lot of trouble lately because she is just trying to roughhouse with Isabel too much. I don't know how many times I have to tell her to stop pushing, pulling, lifting, rolling with Isabel. Her response every time is, "We're just playing" It's sweet and frustrating at the same time. Maybe this is why Isabel is standing already, she's trying to walk to get away from Avery. Even in all that frustration I am very happy that they already enjoy each other. Honestly it takes a lot for Isabel to get upset, I'm usually more bothered than she is. I can't wait until they can really play! I pray that they are always close friends.

This is a picture Avery drew of me. Before you say "Whaaat?" Look to the bottom closer to the left. There is one big circle with 2 uneven sized circles in it and 2 lines coming out of the bottom. My head, eyes and legs. Regardless it's a big step that she's drawing pictures that have "body parts" no matter how deformed. Maybe I'm biased but I think it's beautiful...
